Justice for Janitors Campaign
Janitors are standing up for good jobs
Over 1200 janitors in Toronto have already united under the Justice for Janitors banner. However, many employers continue to drive down standards, putting workers at risk and creating unfair obstacles for working families who want to build a better future.
Cleaners deserve a voice at work, a safe and healthy work environment, reasonable workloads, seniority rights and wages that let us support ourselves, whether we are supporting a family, at school or working part time.
Workers like us have united across North America with SEIU and are making things better for themselves and their families. We can do the same. SEIU's Justice for Janitors movement is reaching out to community leaders so that together we can transform poverty-wage jobs in our communities into jobs with a future for working families.
Yes! I want to build a better future. What do I do now?
