Members employed as Security Guards

Attention all SEIU Local 2 Members employed as Security Guards:

On August 23, 2007 the Private Security and Investigative Services Act came into effect. 

This Act will require all security guards to obtain a personal license from the Ministry on or before August 22, 2008.  The regulations regarding training and testing will become effective November 30, 2008 and the materials with respect to training and tests while not yet available have been promised this fall.
