Salvation Army workers join SEIU Salvation Army July 06

On Friday July 7th, 2006, workers at the Salvation Army Florence Booth House in Toronto voted overwhelmingly in favour of joining SEIU local 2.  The 30 workers who provide supportive housing services to women cited job security and fairness at work as key reasons they decided to organize.
